Aboriginal children on Fitzroy Crossing school bus

Born in Fitzroy Crossing. Built for the Kimberley.

The business is a partnership between Bardi man Azman Bin Omar and brothers Paul and Mark O’Keeffe. Azman ran a successful mechanic’s business in Fitzroy when he met Paul and Mark while servicing their buses and taxis. In 2007, the three decided to go into business together.

Today FCB operates one of the largest 4WD bus fleets in the West Kimberley, employing one of the highest ratios of Aboriginal staff of any business in the region. Maintenance is run in house through Plum Oak’s Workshop, so the buses on the road are the buses we know inside out.
